The knife is excellent! It has a great length for both the larger and smaller blades, and it’s extremely sharp right out of the box. The scales are perfectly crafted and have a stunning color! I've been a fan of Al Mar knives for the past thirty five years, Al Mar died a few years ago and he is missed by many in the knife community.
His knives weren't expensive but the quality of the steal is brilliant. The stinger must be the smallest of his knife range, a great little knife for a keyring, the knife arrived razor sharp, and I for one can guarantee it will remain like that after constant rugged use....so be very careful how you handle this little monster.

A fun knife, comfortable and light. Blade is very thin and best suited to very light duties - cutting and food prep. Can't go wrong for the price though.
This is a very nice little knife, to fit on your keyring. Great for small jobs like opening packages or slitting open letters. The locking blade feature to stop the blade closing unexpectedly is very welcome addition to this knife.

BUT … THE JAWS COULD BE WIDER BY AN EASY 25mm , IF THE RUBBER INSERT WAS REMOVED THAT WOULD GIVE YOU MORE STABILITY AS IM STILL GETTING A 2 OR 3 DEGREES WABBLE WITH THE SMALLEST OF PRESSURE. IM LOOKING AT REMOVING IT ...
YOU CAN PROTECT THE KNIFE SPINE WITH SOME MASKING TAPE OR SIMILAR, STILL SOME R&D TO BE DONE WORK SHARP... . OVERALL AN OK BIT OF KIT FOR THE BEGINNER . GOOD BUT COULD BE BETTER FOR THE COST , ALSO A £54.00 DUTY FEE FOR UK BUYERS . :-(
