Fisher Space Pen Bullet Space Pen – Gold

Originally created in 1948, the Bullet Pen has become one of the most iconic designs produced by Fisher Space Pen Co. and is widely regarded as an example of industrial art. Its significance is reflected in its inclusion in the permanent collection of the New York Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).

When closed, the Bullet Space Pen is compact enough to carry comfortably in a wallet, pocket, purse, glove box, organizer, or toolbox. When opened, it transforms into a full-sized, evenly balanced writing instrument designed to perform reliably in demanding environments.

Produced in Nevada, USA, the pen is manufactured to exacting standards and features Fisher’s tungsten carbide ballpoint along with patented thixotropic ink in a sealed, pressurised cartridge. Like all Fisher Space Pens, it writes in zero gravity, upside down, underwater, over oil and grease, and in temperatures ranging from –30 °F to +250 °F (–34 °C to +121 °C), while offering a longer writing life than a standard ballpoint pen.

The “Gold” version refers to the finish only and is not made of solid gold.
