I’m happy with this purchase. Bear & Son knives are generally made to be users (not “safe queens”) and this knife is definitely a good user. I really like the blades and the walnut handle. The fit and finish is pretty good and as expected. I’m told that Bear & Son can be a little lazy in the “walk and talk” until you’ve used them for a while and this seems to be true. I expect this won’t be my last Bear & Son from Borras Outdoor. The delivery was fast too.

i have many neck knives but this one is close to perfection, weight is perfect, size fit mediium hand, blade shape on point for every task, nice retention of the kydex sheet. the steel needs no comment being the best on the market. come razor sharp
A little knife. Bought it with the purpose of doing some scrimshaw on the white bone scales and was a bit disappointed with the quality of the ones that I got. Lots of black spots on it. Besides that is a good little cheap knife.
I really like this stone. You cannot compare this one to cheap, generic oil stones at all. The course side sets a bevel fairly quickly, and the fine is fine enough to go over to stropping on leather afterwards, to achive hair-popping results. I wish i bought one of these already earlier. I will also give the other Norton stone, the Crystolone, a chance.

Das Messer ist wegen seiner Größe eher für die Jackentasche als für die Hosentasche geeignet. Die Klinge ist scharf, geht sauber und ohne Spiel und arretiert dank des Lockback sicher. Es ist leicht und gut verarbeitet, wobei die Strukturierung der Griffschalen leider vernachlässigt wurde. Für schwere Belastung ist es nicht gemacht, aber dafür gibt es ja die Messer mit feststehenden Klingen und Äxte. Das Armband ist mit 24 cm Länge eher für kräftige Handgelenke geflochten worden. Der kleine Kompass ist mehr als ein Spielzeug: die Nadel findet schnell die Orientierung. Die Signalpfeife ist überraschend laut und ist daher für den Einsatz vollkommen ausreichend. Den Feuerstahl habe ich nicht getestet, also überlasse ich die Bewrtung dem nächsten Rezensenten. Zur Gürteltasche: diese macht einen wertigen Eindruck und gehört eher zu den überdurchschnittlich Guten ihrer Art. Unter dem Strich hat Marbles für das "Abenteuer-Wochenende" ein wirklich taugliches Set zusammengestellt und das zu einem sehr günstigen Preis. Wer für sechs Wochen durch den Urwald von Sumatra laufen möchte, wird auf sich anderweitig umsehen.
Fine survival knife. Tough steel. Slicy enought to do all camp chores and robust enough to abuse.
Very cool knife. Blade hasn't got a half stop, spike locks in place and is relieved pressing on the lanyard loop. Apparently it is very similar to the Camillus Marilin Spike but cheaper. I would recommend.
