The Viking is a modern revision of a classic Helle knife, originally created for a fundraiser supporting an around-the-world Viking longship expedition.
Its barrel-shaped handle provides a distinct grip, emphasizing simplicity and timeless design despite being over a thousand years old.
Suitable for all hand sizes but recommended for experienced users due to the lack of a finger guard, the knife features a robust laminated carbon steel blade with a black finish directly from heat treatment. Its narrow tang extends through the handle and is secured with an old-style pin and diamond-shaped washer.
Comes with a traditional back-sewn leather sheath for belt hanging.
