Khaki. TacTie Attachment Strap System is used to integrate accessory pockets onto packs, vests, MOLLE equipment and PALS surfaces effortlessly in an interlocking manner. Closed loop design provides an extremely secure connection. Once properly engaged, a TacTie strap will not open unless deliberately disengaged by the user. Detachment is quick and easy by hand. There is no need to use special tools. Once the pouch is detached from the pack, the TacTie straps remain secured on the pouch so they are not misplaced or lost. Works seamlessly with all current and past Maxpedition products, also works on your existing MOLLE pouches by other manufacturers. Completely reusable and interchangeable. Not affected by heat or cold and will never corrode. Pack of 4. lon thread (stronger than ordinary industry standard nylon thread). #AS-100 high grade closed-cell foam padding material for superior shock protection. High tensile strength nylon webbing. #10 high strength zippers and zipper tracks. UTX-Duraflex nylon buckles for low sound closures.

CS Shamshir asemoituu tuntumaltaan jonnekin keskiarvon yläpuolelle tässä hintaluokassa. CS omiin tuotteisiin verrattuna selvästi kevyempi ja tasapainoisempi kädessä kuin esim. Light Cavalry Saber tai Polish Saber, mutta ei taas niin hyvä kuin Indian Tulwar. Siisti ja hyvä ulkonäkö, ei repsottavia reunoja yms. Kahva on jotain muovia yms. synteettistä, ei oikein selviä (”faux horn”?) mutta varsin sileä ja jopa liukas. Kahvan pään kaarevuus ja ”klunssi” toki jeesaavat että säilä pysyy lapasessa eikä päädy kaseikkoon, mutta perus sapelin kahvaan tottuneille vaatii opettelua. Miekka oli ihan hyvässä terässä saapuessa. Hyvä kokonaisuus hintaan nähden.
The action was great right out of the box, absolutely no need for breaking the knife in. Lockup is solid as with Civivi button locks they typically are. Fits in the hand like a glove and the textured ultem gives the handle a nice added grip.
Has an ok finger choil but good grippy jimping on the back of the blade to help out if you're choking up towards the tip. Overall this is a Civivi classic and you cannot go wrong with it or any of the other Elementum variations, be it button or liner lock.

Very nice machete, light for it's size and made of 5160 steel which is better than 1055 that is used in most of machetes, only handle is a bit too rough so you will need to use gloves.
