Description
To create the kind of knives that last a lifetime and deliver the innovations Benchmade is known for, ongoing collaboration with skilled artisans, designers, and craftsmen is essential. One such successful partnership has been with Bill McHenry and Jason Williams, renowned custom knifemakers with roots in watchmaking, who describe their work as “art with an edge on it.” McHenry and Williams are also the masterminds behind Benchmade’s groundbreaking AXIS lock technology, first introduced on the 710 model in 1999.
In celebration of the 25th Anniversary of AXIS lock technology, the new 710FE-24 pays homage to its origins with the same large frame and powerful cutting capabilities as the original, but with elevated features. This anniversary edition boasts a stylish drop-point recurve blade made from durable CPM S90V steel with an FDE PVD finish. The knife is further enhanced by a lightweight 6061-T6 Aluminum handle with a gray anodized finish, milled FDE PVD standoffs, a pocket clip, pivot ring, and satin thumb stud and AXIS lock. Inspired by its original creators, McHenry and Williams, the 710FE-24 is a fitting tribute to a timeless design.
