Solid titanium construction. Pairs Ti-lite 30 oz. capacity Mug with a titanium 13 oz. capacity lid-pan to create a double boiler system which allows you to cook two items at once. The lid-pan is uniquely designed to nest on top of the mug to utilize the captured heat from the mug to cook food slowly, preventing burning. Lid-pan and mug can also be used separately. The action was great right out of the box, absolutely no need for breaking the knife in. Lockup is solid as with Civivi button locks they typically are. Fits in the hand like a glove and the textured ultem gives the handle a nice added grip.
Has an ok finger choil but good grippy jimping on the back of the blade to help out if you're choking up towards the tip. Overall this is a Civivi classic and you cannot go wrong with it or any of the other Elementum variations, be it button or liner lock.

Very nice machete, light for it's size and made of 5160 steel which is better than 1055 that is used in most of machetes, only handle is a bit too rough so you will need to use gloves.
