My first experience with this manufacturer and am happy. Sharp out of box, good sheath retention, grind is consistent and even for most of the edge apart from a small area on the tip but nothing that cannot be easily fixed and does not affect performance. Handle scales were flush with tang with no raised edges in the grip area, the scales were ever so slightly longer than the steel forward of the guard leaving a small lip less than 1mm, again no affect on performance and easily fixed if you wanted.
