Good:
*Came with a very nice quality BLACK sheath that perfectly matches the knife. (The description says brown, so it's a good thing)
*Round comfortable grip. You can feel the metal parts stacked along with the black laminated wood, which gives you a good grip.
*Overall finish is good.
Not Good:
*The gap between the hilt and the blade is clearly and overly visible (see image)
*The hilt slightly moves if I wiggle it hard with my fingers, probably due to the gap.
Notes:
Sharpness and durability are not tested. I would not baton with it, due to the
narrow rattail structure. It is a beautifully designed knife and I do like the knife.
As for the issues mentioned above, it would be fun to re-finish the knife and make it perfect.
I could not ask for more considering its price point.
I ordered "Special order product/Tilaustuote" items that were not in stock, but they were delivered within the advertised timeframe.

Kahvan pÀÀn kaarevuus ja âklunssiâ toki jeesaavat ettĂ€ sĂ€ilĂ€ pysyy lapasessa eikĂ€ pÀÀdy kaseikkoon, mutta perus sapelin kahvaan tottuneille vaatii opettelua. The action was great right out of the box, absolutely no need for breaking the knife in. Lockup is solid as with Civivi button locks they typically are. Fits in the hand like a glove and the textured ultem gives the handle a nice added grip.
Has an ok finger choil but good grippy jimping on the back of the blade to help out if you're choking up towards the tip. Overall this is a Civivi classic and you cannot go wrong with it or any of the other Elementum variations, be it button or liner lock.

Perfect function and finish - just like all the onther little artworks made by Maratac / Countycomm!
Very nice machete, light for it's size and made of 5160 steel which is better than 1055 that is used in most of machetes, only handle is a bit too rough so you will need to use gloves.
