A common feature for the new hunting knife series from Muela are the extremely slip-proof grips made from proven Kraton, which has enjoyed considerable popularity among all knife users who rely on knife functionality as the most important criterion. Not only in wet conditions, but also in extreme cold or with gloves, Kraton provides dramatically better grip with greatly enhanced handling over classic grips made from natural materials. Of course, this also significantly improves resistance to wetness. A stainless steel guard element closes the Kraton grip toward the blade. Shipped with black leather sheath. Full size trapper knife. The high-strength, single-edged blade is ideally suited for hunting and classic trapper uses. 420 blade steel.

Kahvan pÀÀn kaarevuus ja âklunssiâ toki jeesaavat ettĂ€ sĂ€ilĂ€ pysyy lapasessa eikĂ€ pÀÀdy kaseikkoon, mutta perus sapelin kahvaan tottuneille vaatii opettelua. The action was great right out of the box, absolutely no need for breaking the knife in. Lockup is solid as with Civivi button locks they typically are. Fits in the hand like a glove and the textured ultem gives the handle a nice added grip.
Has an ok finger choil but good grippy jimping on the back of the blade to help out if you're choking up towards the tip. Overall this is a Civivi classic and you cannot go wrong with it or any of the other Elementum variations, be it button or liner lock.

Perfect function and finish - just like all the onther little artworks made by Maratac / Countycomm!
Very nice machete, light for it's size and made of 5160 steel which is better than 1055 that is used in most of machetes, only handle is a bit too rough so you will need to use gloves.
