This knife has a single-edged stainless steel blade for left hand use. The back of the knife is not sharp which gives you the possibilities to use your right hand to push the blade with your fingers from the back. This blade has the smaller curve of our hook knives. MoraknivÂź has optimized the blade to make it run smooth over the inside of the spoon or bowl. To protect both you and the knife it comes with a simple but ingeniously designed edge protection made out of Swedish vegetable tanned leather.

The action was great right out of the box, absolutely no need for breaking the knife in. Lockup is solid as with Civivi button locks they typically are. Fits in the hand like a glove and the textured ultem gives the handle a nice added grip.
Has an ok finger choil but good grippy jimping on the back of the blade to help out if you're choking up towards the tip. Overall this is a Civivi classic and you cannot go wrong with it or any of the other Elementum variations, be it button or liner lock.

Very nice machete, light for it's size and made of 5160 steel which is better than 1055 that is used in most of machetes, only handle is a bit too rough so you will need to use gloves.
