The blade of the knife is 3.2 mm thick and made of high quality stainless steel, placed on one of the sturdiest models weâve ever manufactured. The knife sheathâs Multi-Mount is a versatile mounting solution, so you can mount the knife almost wherever you want, and you can attach and detach it in seconds. Of course itâs also possible to take the knife directly out of its sheath for even faster use.

The action was great right out of the box, absolutely no need for breaking the knife in. Lockup is solid as with Civivi button locks they typically are. Fits in the hand like a glove and the textured ultem gives the handle a nice added grip.
Has an ok finger choil but good grippy jimping on the back of the blade to help out if you're choking up towards the tip. Overall this is a Civivi classic and you cannot go wrong with it or any of the other Elementum variations, be it button or liner lock.

Very nice machete, light for it's size and made of 5160 steel which is better than 1055 that is used in most of machetes, only handle is a bit too rough so you will need to use gloves.
