Lightweight fishing system. Made from Ultramid and weighs 0.25lb(s). It is comprised of three main components. The handle is inspired by the iconic KA-BAR USMC Fighting/Utility Knife and has a hollow storage compartment for extra line and lures. The head is where your fishing line attaches, and a plastic clamp-like device is included to secure your line in place when not in use. Holds the following fishing line: 8lb = 100 yds @.011" diameter and 10lbs = 90 yds @.012" diameter. Fishing line not included. .

The action was great right out of the box, absolutely no need for breaking the knife in. Lockup is solid as with Civivi button locks they typically are. Fits in the hand like a glove and the textured ultem gives the handle a nice added grip.
Has an ok finger choil but good grippy jimping on the back of the blade to help out if you're choking up towards the tip. Overall this is a Civivi classic and you cannot go wrong with it or any of the other Elementum variations, be it button or liner lock.

Very nice machete, light for it's size and made of 5160 steel which is better than 1055 that is used in most of machetes, only handle is a bit too rough so you will need to use gloves.
