Law Enforcement Knife. 3 1/2" overall. 1 3/4" blade. One piece black powder coated 9Cr18 stainless construction. Overall profile is no larger than a credit card. Molded black composition sheath. Black cord tie included.May be laced in boot, pinned inside a belt or lapel or used as a neck knife. . The TDI Law Enforcement Knife was designed to be used as a "last option" knife. In extreme close quarters encounters where a suspect is attempting to take an officer's handgun, or the officer cannot access his/her handgun, the TDI knife is available. Designed as an "off hand" knife that draws like a pistol, the reversible sheath can be worn on either the right or left side of the officer's belt.

The action was great right out of the box, absolutely no need for breaking the knife in. Lockup is solid as with Civivi button locks they typically are. Fits in the hand like a glove and the textured ultem gives the handle a nice added grip.
Has an ok finger choil but good grippy jimping on the back of the blade to help out if you're choking up towards the tip. Overall this is a Civivi classic and you cannot go wrong with it or any of the other Elementum variations, be it button or liner lock.

Perfect function and finish - just like all the onther little artworks made by Maratac / Countycomm!
Very nice machete, light for it's size and made of 5160 steel which is better than 1055 that is used in most of machetes, only handle is a bit too rough so you will need to use gloves.
