The Helle Jegermester is often seen as a hunterâs knife, but it is versatile enough for various outdoor tasks. This well-proportioned knife has been a staple in the Helle range for nearly 20 years.
Its sizable handle and blade make it ideal for camp activities, from making feather sticks and tent pegs to preparing food and hunting. Designed for medium to large hands, the handle is hand-sanded to a satin finish, providing a secure grip. The 12C27 steel blade features a Scandi grind and is hand-sharpened to a razor edge right out of the box.

The action was great right out of the box, absolutely no need for breaking the knife in. Lockup is solid as with Civivi button locks they typically are. Fits in the hand like a glove and the textured ultem gives the handle a nice added grip.
Has an ok finger choil but good grippy jimping on the back of the blade to help out if you're choking up towards the tip. Overall this is a Civivi classic and you cannot go wrong with it or any of the other Elementum variations, be it button or liner lock.

Perfect function and finish - just like all the onther little artworks made by Maratac / Countycomm!
Very nice machete, light for it's size and made of 5160 steel which is better than 1055 that is used in most of machetes, only handle is a bit too rough so you will need to use gloves.
