The solid blade blank, crafted from a chromium-molybdenum-vanadium alloy (X50CrMoV15) ideally suited for high-quality kitchen knives, is hand-forged with traditional Solingen expertise, structurally optimized, and hardened to 58 HRC. To extend the blade’s service life and achieve an even finer cutting performance, the classic hand grind is subsequently polished to a high finish.
The forged bolster provides a secure grip and protects the user from potential injuries should the hand slip. A defining design element of every knife in this series is the gently rounded spine, which ensures comfortable handling in any grip and prevents pressure points on the hand even when applying significant force during tasks such as rock chopping. The beautifully patterned, well-proportioned walnut handles complete the knife with a cohesive and refined appearance.
