5 5/8" overall. 2 3/8" black powder coated AUS-8A stainless partially serrated drop point blade. Full tang. Textured coyote brown Zytel handles. Glass filled nylon belt sheath. The TDI Law Enforcement Knife was designed to be used as a "last option" knife. In extreme close quarters encounters where a suspect is attempting to take an officer's handgun, or the officer cannot access his/her handgun, the TDI knife is available. Designed as an "off hand" knife that draws like a pistol, the reversible sheath can be worn on either the right or left side of the officer's belt.

CS Shamshir asemoituu tuntumaltaan jonnekin keskiarvon yläpuolelle tässä hintaluokassa. CS omiin tuotteisiin verrattuna selvästi kevyempi ja tasapainoisempi kädessä kuin esim. Light Cavalry Saber tai Polish Saber, mutta ei taas niin hyvä kuin Indian Tulwar. Siisti ja hyvä ulkonäkö, ei repsottavia reunoja yms. Kahva on jotain muovia yms. synteettistä, ei oikein selviä (”faux horn”?) mutta varsin sileä ja jopa liukas. Kahvan pään kaarevuus ja ”klunssi” toki jeesaavat että säilä pysyy lapasessa eikä päädy kaseikkoon, mutta perus sapelin kahvaan tottuneille vaatii opettelua. Miekka oli ihan hyvässä terässä saapuessa. Hyvä kokonaisuus hintaan nähden.
The action was great right out of the box, absolutely no need for breaking the knife in. Lockup is solid as with Civivi button locks they typically are. Fits in the hand like a glove and the textured ultem gives the handle a nice added grip.
Has an ok finger choil but good grippy jimping on the back of the blade to help out if you're choking up towards the tip. Overall this is a Civivi classic and you cannot go wrong with it or any of the other Elementum variations, be it button or liner lock.

Very nice machete, light for it's size and made of 5160 steel which is better than 1055 that is used in most of machetes, only handle is a bit too rough so you will need to use gloves.
