Borras Outdoor Oy, business code: 3292216–5, address: Valtatie 1090, 07880 Liljendal; Is selling products to companies and to adult private persons. It is prohibited to order from us if you are underaged.
These terms are valid from 03.07.2022. We have the right to change these terms unilaterally and the customer is responsible to review them before an order.
Orders and registration
Placing an order does not require registration but registered users get offers to the shop. When placing an order or during registration the customer is asked to give necessary information to fulfill the task. The customer is obliged to give correct information. The customer gives a permission of receiving offers and news when registering to the site and Borras Outdoor Oy has the right to collect the information of user. When customer makes and order he accepts the terms of service.
Products and prices
Features and prices of products are seen on the site. Borras Outdoor Oy does not take responsibility for the information texts of products, and they are indicative. We reserve the right to change the prices of products and shipping costs. We have the right to cancel the order because of mistake in price or because of any reason. The main currency of the site is euro and all other currency conversions are estimates. The final price can vary slightly depending on the exchange rate of the payment service provider.
Shipping cost
The cost of shipping depends on user’s location and ordered products. It will be added to the price in shopping cart if the order is not eligible for free shipping.

Paytrail Plc acts as a collecting payment service provider and is an authorized Payment Institution. Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Order and confirmation
After successful purchase an order confirmation will be sent to email so, please give email during making an order. The used payment option will be seen on order confirmation.
If we can’t for some unexpected reason confirm the order we will inform customer as soon as possible.

Delivery times
Products that are in stock are normally sent in 24h
Expected delivery times to products in stock:
Finland: 2 business days
Inside EU: 3-8 business days
Outside EU: 6-9 business days
*Free shipping isn't available for some large items for long distance deliveries. The final shipping cost will be shown at the checkout
Products that need to be backordered takes usually 3-10 business days more. In some cases it is possible to take more time than that. Ask from us if you need more precise estimate in certain product. Possible time that customs clearance take is not included in delivery time estimation.
It is customer's responsibility to be aware of current law of his/her country, we don't take any responsibility if the product is being seized by customs.
We ship from Finland so if you order inside of the EU there will not be any extra cost (taxes or customs duties).
ORDERING FROM OUTSIDE OF THE EU:
If a customer makes the order from outside of the EU, he/she is fully responsible for any charges of the customs process, for example customs duties and taxes.
ORDERING FROM THE UNITED KINGDOM:
If a customer makes the order from the United Kingdom, he/she is fully responsible for any charges of the customs process, for example customs duties, taxes and other fees.
AND
If the customer’s order value is 135£ or more (includes shipping cost) then UPS pays customs duties and taxes first and charges them from the customer and adds 13.60£ brokerage fee on top of that. These costs (Taxes, customs duties and brokerage fee) are not refundable and even though the customer would reject the delivery of the item or return it these costs will be deducted from the refunded amount as well as other possible costs which are told in return policy section or in terms of service .
Return policy
Private customer has 14 days to return the product.
If customer wants to return an item, he must inform us to the email info@borrasoutdoor.com. Not picking up the order is not considered as proper notice.
The returned item must be unopened, unused, in their original box, otherwise there may be deductions for the refund. Pack the item securely for delivery as the item is on liability of customer until it has arrived to our premises.
If the order will be canceled the product(s) must be returned immediately. The customer can be asked to prove that the product has been returned in proper time for example by the confirmation given by delivery company.
After the returned item has arrived to us we will check it and make the refund within 5 days to the same payment method that was used for the order.

Small sized items (folding knives, compasses etc.)
Medium sized items (Bowies, backpacks etc.)
Large sized items (Machetes, swords etc.)
- The return label price will be deducted from the refunded amount.
- You can also post the return without our label, please contact us in this case too.

Checking the order and problem situation
Check the order right after you have received it. If the product has been lost or broken during the delivery or it has some other problems inform us right away or at least in 14 days. In private sales we are obeying the current regulations.
Warranty
The warranty is at least two years, but some manufacturer can give longer warranty. The warranty doesn’t compensate if the product is broken because of the misuse or unproper maintenance. In the warranty cases the manufacturer does the last decision if the warranty applies.
