9 1/4" overall. 5" 1095 high carbon steel blade with black traction coating. Full tang. Black linen micarta handles. Molded black Kydex sheath with clip. Comes with bonus TOPS Survival whistle. The HKT design incorporates a broad cutting surface and an offset grip angle in order to better facilitate the forward thrust style of attack, in addition to slashing. The wide bodied blade of the HKT is complimented by the signature concave strike face of the Back Bite fighting knife to facilitate supreme combative application.

The action was great right out of the box, absolutely no need for breaking the knife in. Lockup is solid as with Civivi button locks they typically are. Fits in the hand like a glove and the textured ultem gives the handle a nice added grip.
Has an ok finger choil but good grippy jimping on the back of the blade to help out if you're choking up towards the tip. Overall this is a Civivi classic and you cannot go wrong with it or any of the other Elementum variations, be it button or liner lock.

Perfect function and finish - just like all the onther little artworks made by Maratac / Countycomm!
Very nice machete, light for it's size and made of 5160 steel which is better than 1055 that is used in most of machetes, only handle is a bit too rough so you will need to use gloves.
