Description
Fits the RC3P and RC3S. Features jump-proof MOLLE back plate with drop-leg extender ring, belt loop, tie-down holes, and heavy duty MOLLE strap. Each sheath has three retention devices that may be used for securing the knife: 1) A friction fit, molded blade cover in coyote brown. 2) A Velcro retainer strap. 3) An elastic pommel cover that is unobtrusive until you pull it over the butt of the knife.

The action was great right out of the box, absolutely no need for breaking the knife in. Lockup is solid as with Civivi button locks they typically are. Fits in the hand like a glove and the textured ultem gives the handle a nice added grip.
Has an ok finger choil but good grippy jimping on the back of the blade to help out if you're choking up towards the tip. Overall this is a Civivi classic and you cannot go wrong with it or any of the other Elementum variations, be it button or liner lock.

Very nice machete, light for it's size and made of 5160 steel which is better than 1055 that is used in most of machetes, only handle is a bit too rough so you will need to use gloves.
