Description
This is a classic outdoor knife for children that can be used for many different projects on the next adventure. The blade is made of recycled Swedish stainless steel with a barrel-shaped handle of Scandinavian birch wood. The knife has a tipless blade and double finger guard for hand protection. The sheath made of vegetable tanned leather in its natural color has a belt strap that can be easily attached to a belt and for safety's sake, it is equipped with a simple and classic click-button that secures the knife in the knife sheath.The knife sheath should always be mounted on the knife when it is not in use to carefully protect both the user and the sharp edge.

CS Shamshir asemoituu tuntumaltaan jonnekin keskiarvon yläpuolelle tässä hintaluokassa. CS omiin tuotteisiin verrattuna selvästi kevyempi ja tasapainoisempi kädessä kuin esim. Light Cavalry Saber tai Polish Saber, mutta ei taas niin hyvä kuin Indian Tulwar. Siisti ja hyvä ulkonäkö, ei repsottavia reunoja yms. Kahva on jotain muovia yms. synteettistä, ei oikein selviä (”faux horn”?) mutta varsin sileä ja jopa liukas. Kahvan pään kaarevuus ja ”klunssi” toki jeesaavat että säilä pysyy lapasessa eikä päädy kaseikkoon, mutta perus sapelin kahvaan tottuneille vaatii opettelua. Miekka oli ihan hyvässä terässä saapuessa. Hyvä kokonaisuus hintaan nähden.
The action was great right out of the box, absolutely no need for breaking the knife in. Lockup is solid as with Civivi button locks they typically are. Fits in the hand like a glove and the textured ultem gives the handle a nice added grip.
Has an ok finger choil but good grippy jimping on the back of the blade to help out if you're choking up towards the tip. Overall this is a Civivi classic and you cannot go wrong with it or any of the other Elementum variations, be it button or liner lock.

Very nice machete, light for it's size and made of 5160 steel which is better than 1055 that is used in most of machetes, only handle is a bit too rough so you will need to use gloves.
