Lightweight Multi-Mode LED Headlamp. Black water-resistant composition housing with adjustable black nylon headband. Two light sources: 2 white LEDs or one red LED. Four modes: high white, low white, red light and S.O.S. (flashing red). Up to 30 lumen output on high and 5 lumen output on low. Visible up to 30 meters. Uses two AAA batteries (included). Run time per battery set: up to 9 hours on high or 105 hours on low setting. Hang packaged.

CS Shamshir asemoituu tuntumaltaan jonnekin keskiarvon yläpuolelle tässä hintaluokassa. CS omiin tuotteisiin verrattuna selvästi kevyempi ja tasapainoisempi kädessä kuin esim. Light Cavalry Saber tai Polish Saber, mutta ei taas niin hyvä kuin Indian Tulwar. Siisti ja hyvä ulkonäkö, ei repsottavia reunoja yms. Kahva on jotain muovia yms. synteettistä, ei oikein selviä (”faux horn”?) mutta varsin sileä ja jopa liukas. Kahvan pään kaarevuus ja ”klunssi” toki jeesaavat että säilä pysyy lapasessa eikä päädy kaseikkoon, mutta perus sapelin kahvaan tottuneille vaatii opettelua. Miekka oli ihan hyvässä terässä saapuessa. Hyvä kokonaisuus hintaan nähden.
The action was great right out of the box, absolutely no need for breaking the knife in. Lockup is solid as with Civivi button locks they typically are. Fits in the hand like a glove and the textured ultem gives the handle a nice added grip.
Has an ok finger choil but good grippy jimping on the back of the blade to help out if you're choking up towards the tip. Overall this is a Civivi classic and you cannot go wrong with it or any of the other Elementum variations, be it button or liner lock.

Very nice machete, light for it's size and made of 5160 steel which is better than 1055 that is used in most of machetes, only handle is a bit too rough so you will need to use gloves.
