29 3/4" overall. 22 7/8" double edge Damascus steel blade. Black rayskin and genuine brown leather wrapped handle with oversized cast heavy metal hilt and fittings. The shape and style of the handle offer a sure, confident and comfortable grip. The blade locks securely into the cane shaft and is accessed with a press of the hidden button that releases the blade locking mechanism on the handle. Black wooden scabbard with coordinating accents.

The action was great right out of the box, absolutely no need for breaking the knife in. Lockup is solid as with Civivi button locks they typically are. Fits in the hand like a glove and the textured ultem gives the handle a nice added grip.
Has an ok finger choil but good grippy jimping on the back of the blade to help out if you're choking up towards the tip. Overall this is a Civivi classic and you cannot go wrong with it or any of the other Elementum variations, be it button or liner lock.

Very nice machete, light for it's size and made of 5160 steel which is better than 1055 that is used in most of machetes, only handle is a bit too rough so you will need to use gloves.
