The Gerber LMF II Infantry is a rugged survival knife developed with input from military personnel and field-tested for real-world combat and survival scenarios. Designed by Jeff Freeman, it features a 12.3 cm (4.84 in) partially serrated drop point blade made from 420HC stainless steel with a non-reflective black finish. The handle is crafted from glass-filled nylon with a TPV overmold, providing a secure grip while reducing impact shock and blistering. Integrated lashing holes and grooves allow for spear attachment, enhancing its versatility in the field.
