The Fisher Bullet Space Pen – Chrome is a compact, durable writing instrument with a timeless and elegant design. Originally created in 1948, the Bullet Pen has become an iconic product of Fisher Space Pen Co. and is recognized as a classic example of industrial design. Its significance is reflected in its inclusion in the permanent collection of the New York Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).

When closed, the pen measures just 9.5 cm (3.74 in), making it easy to carry in a pocket, wallet, bag, or glove compartment. When opened, it extends to a full-sized 13.5 cm (5.31 in) pen with a balanced feel suitable for everyday writing. The body is made from brass with a chrome-plated finish, offering both durability and a clean, polished appearance.

Manufactured in Nevada, USA, the pen uses Fisher’s pressurised FSPR4 refill with black medium-point ink. Thanks to its sealed cartridge, tungsten carbide ballpoint, and patented thixotropic ink, it writes reliably in zero gravity, upside down, underwater, over oil and grease, and in temperatures ranging from –30 °F to +250 °F (–34 °C to +121 °C). Like all Fisher Space Pens, it is designed to write significantly longer than a standard ballpoint pen.
