The Böker Pocket Sharpener is a compact, two-stage sharpening tool designed for quick and simple edge maintenance. It features an X-shaped design with a V-grinder made from carbide segments for coarse sharpening and a second V-grinder with ceramic rods for finer finishing. The carbide stage removes material efficiently, while lighter pressure and repeated passes result in a smoother edge. The ceramic rods allow further refinement in the second step. The sharpener is particularly suitable for carbon steels and softer blade steels where a practical working edge needs to be restored efficiently. Rubberised grip surfaces and rubberised support feet on both sides provide stable and safe handling during use.
