Description
Pocket-size grappling hook. Measures 2 7/8â overall. Comes with both aluminum and stainless spikes. Spikes are stored inside the body. Stainless spikes will not bend under normal use. Aluminum spikes will allow bending. Rare-earth magnet is mounted in the head and can be used to retrieve metallic objects. Special soft-mount design to hold spikes in place. Bulk packed.

The action was great right out of the box, absolutely no need for breaking the knife in. Lockup is solid as with Civivi button locks they typically are. Fits in the hand like a glove and the textured ultem gives the handle a nice added grip.
Has an ok finger choil but good grippy jimping on the back of the blade to help out if you're choking up towards the tip. Overall this is a Civivi classic and you cannot go wrong with it or any of the other Elementum variations, be it button or liner lock.

Very nice machete, light for it's size and made of 5160 steel which is better than 1055 that is used in most of machetes, only handle is a bit too rough so you will need to use gloves.
