Measures: 9 1/2" x 12 1/2" x 18". 600 Denier PVC lined polyester construction. Pack has four expanding compartments that provide up to 20 liters of storage. Internal dividers and zippered pockets are built in the three largest compartments. The mesh padded back panel can hold up to a 2.5 liter hydration bladder (bladder not included). The contoured shoulder straps are constructed with mesh padding and are fully adjustable. Adjustable waist strap and sternum strap evenly distribute the weight of the load. MOLLE system straps armor this bag with points for customization. Reinforced carry handle. Mesh ventilated padded back with Velcro top closure. Shoulder straps have hard plastic D-rings for attachments. Four quick release compression straps for expansion and consolidation. Medium 2 liter external organizer pocket. Velcro keepers for excess strap slack. Weight: 2.5 lbs. Color: Black.

CS Shamshir asemoituu tuntumaltaan jonnekin keskiarvon yläpuolelle tässä hintaluokassa. CS omiin tuotteisiin verrattuna selvästi kevyempi ja tasapainoisempi kädessä kuin esim. Light Cavalry Saber tai Polish Saber, mutta ei taas niin hyvä kuin Indian Tulwar. Siisti ja hyvä ulkonäkö, ei repsottavia reunoja yms. Kahva on jotain muovia yms. synteettistä, ei oikein selviä (”faux horn”?) mutta varsin sileä ja jopa liukas. Kahvan pään kaarevuus ja ”klunssi” toki jeesaavat että säilä pysyy lapasessa eikä päädy kaseikkoon, mutta perus sapelin kahvaan tottuneille vaatii opettelua. Miekka oli ihan hyvässä terässä saapuessa. Hyvä kokonaisuus hintaan nähden.
The action was great right out of the box, absolutely no need for breaking the knife in. Lockup is solid as with Civivi button locks they typically are. Fits in the hand like a glove and the textured ultem gives the handle a nice added grip.
Has an ok finger choil but good grippy jimping on the back of the blade to help out if you're choking up towards the tip. Overall this is a Civivi classic and you cannot go wrong with it or any of the other Elementum variations, be it button or liner lock.

Very nice machete, light for it's size and made of 5160 steel which is better than 1055 that is used in most of machetes, only handle is a bit too rough so you will need to use gloves.
